Peace Corps Liberia shares a roadmap to move from stand-alone volunteer projects to sustained, locally led impact—strengthening foundational teaching and school leadership, community health (WASH, malaria, MCH), climate-smart agriculture and agribusiness extension, youth leadership and entrepreneurship, and counterpart training for durable skills transfer. The session highlights concrete partnership paths for the diaspora, from co-funding school and clinic upgrades to “club-in-a-box” kits (STEM, girls’ empowerment), virtual mentorship and curriculum co-creation, small grants for community enterprises, volunteer housing/equipment support, and RPCV–diaspora linkages that connect communities to markets, tech, and scholarships.
