Ministry of Gender

The Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Protection shares Liberia’s roadmap to move from fragmented services to survivor-centered, gender-responsive systems—preventing and responding to GBV (hotlines, one-stop centers, case management), advancing women’s economic empowerment and access to finance, protecting children and adolescents (safe schools and SRH), mainstreaming disability inclusion, and strengthening data, legal frameworks, and inter-agency coordination. The session highlights concrete partnership paths for the diaspora, from supporting safe houses and one-stop GBV centers to mentorship and access-to-capital programs for women, adolescent girls’ STEM/TVET initiatives, menstrual health and psychosocial support, assistive-technology drives, and digital case-management and data dashboards.
