The National Road Fund
The National Road Fund shares Liberia’s roadmap to move from ad-hoc fixes to predictable, performance-based road maintenance—ring-fencing fuel-levy revenues under the 2016 National Road Fund Act, strengthening governance and ARMEP allocations, and contracting routine/periodic works for corridors, bridges, and feeder roads. The agenda emphasizes transparency in collections and disbursements, climate-resilient drainage and slope protection, and digitized monitoring of works and assets. The session highlights concrete partnership paths for the diaspora, from adopt-a-feeder-road maintenance pilots and county equipment/training pools to road-safety campaigns, small-bridge/culvert kits, GIS/drone asset mapping, and public dashboards that track levy receipts and project delivery.
